MG TC / TD / TF

This is an unusual pair of Lucas FT11 foglamps. They were made in the 1970s and are generally in good condition, working, with wiring pigtails.

These are newly made genuine right hand drive (RHD) Lucas H4 7-inch round convex headlamps with new halogen Lucas P43 (60/55W) bulbs, imported from England and supplied in updated green and white Lucas boxes. They are similar to the Lucas European lamps we also sell, but are updated to take the more modern P43 bulbs. They say "Lucas H4" on the glass, indicating they are designed for halogen bulbs. This is a pair of genuine new Lucas 7-inch headlamp bowls/buckets, complete with adjusters and inner and outer retaining rings.  Dust seals for the headlamp rims and rubber gaskets are also included. This is the three-adjuster style, correct for most British cars of the 1950s with 7-inch headlamps. This is a beautiful and rare Lucas L494 reversing lamp, in new old stock unused condition, but with some minor pimpling in the chrome, a very common flaw with cast lamps such as this. The chrome shines beautifully and the pimples are hard to spot unless one looks closely. Lamps like these were commonly used on Austin-Healeys, Triumph TR2-3-4-5-250, MGA, MGB, Magnette, MG TD and TF, and so many other British cars. Found at an autojumble in England, this is an ultra-rare Lucas reverse lamp set, complete with a pair of L539 lamps, wiring, rare white illuminated push-pull switch, fitting instructions, even a bag of connectors for the wiring, and all packaged in a great display box and marked, "4-65" as date of manufacture.
