Shipping

We ship to the US, Canada and worldwide via USPS, Fedex or UPS as requested and appropriate.  Please be advised that both Fedex and UPS now charge a Remote Area Pick Up Fee from our location of at least $30! This fee is NOT INCLUDED in the shipping calculated by our website. If your order is not urgent, we can usually drop off a UPS package at our nearby UPS Store conveniently within 2 - 3 days, thus avoiding the fee.

We prefer Fedex over UPS as the UPS insurance claims process is cumbersome, unfriendly and designed to prevent payouts.  

Each product in the catalog has its packaged weight and dimensions listed, so shipping costs can be estimated. Shipping costs are calculated during check-out, but are ESTIMATES.  We will send you a refund if the amount you were charged is unreasonably high and will ask for balance due if it is too low. The shipping calculator has a primitive algorithm for estimating costs for multiple orders, so these estimates are often higher than actual cost.

You may visit us in Shutesbury, Massachusetts, USA, to pick up your order and save shipping costs. We'll have the kettle on. Sheet metal from British Spares may be picked up directly in Springfield, Massachusetts. Contact us to arrange this.

On our website we accept payment via PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

RETURNS: We like what we sell and we will happily refund your money, including shipping, if you are not satisfied with something you purchase from us.  We accept returns for any reason and will refund the cost of the item, but not shipping, if you order the wrong part by mistake or change your mind. If an item is defective or not as advertised, we will pay for return shipping NOT TO EXCEED ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST. We prefer that you contact us for a return label.
