New distributor caps for older British cars are cheap. We sell new repro ones for $20 each. But they are made of very thin plastic and simply don't measure up to the original bakelite items like this one. It was probably made in the 1960s or 1970s.  It is not Lucas-marked but comparable in quality. We also stock new premium red rotors, points and condensers; see Related Products below or contact us.

This is a brand new vacuum-style replacement distributor for a Lucas 25D4 style dizzy, as used in most MGAs and MGBs up to 1974. It comes complete with new points, condenser, premium red rotor and cap. It is a later-style 45D4 body and cap, no. 41427, but is calibrated for earlier engines.
