This is a perfect, new production Lucas starter solenoid SRB325 in its original box. These solenoids are once again being produced in the UK under Lucas license and supplied in genuine Lucas boxes, as shown in the picture. It is the correct starter solenoid for Mini, Austin-Healey Sprite (1275 cc), MG Midget (1275 cc), Land Rover, Triumph Spitfire and GT6, Morris, Austin, and many others. It is a beautifully made part, far nicer than most of the reproduction British parts made today.

New distributor caps for older British cars are cheap. We sell new repro ones for $20 each. But they are made of very thin plastic and simply don't measure up to the original bakelite items like this one. It was probably made in the 1960s or 1970s.
