This is a pair of genuine new Lucas 7-inch headlamp bowls/buckets, complete with adjusters and inner and outer retaining rings. Dust seals for the headlamp rims and rubber gaskets are also included. This is the three-adjuster style, correct for most British cars of the 1950s with 7-inch headlamps. They will also work just fine with later cars, from the 1960s through the 1980s, which had two-adjuster bowls. It must be admitted that these are not as fine as the original Lucas headlamp bowls. The inner retaining rims, which come with these bowls, are cadmium-plated and not polished chrome like the originals.
They are complete, genuine Lucas in a new Lucas red and black box, and they are not expensive.
We can supply new chrome inner retaining rims at extra cost. We also stock a variety of new, NOS and original outer chrome trim or beauty rings.
This set will fit MGA, MGB, MG Midget, MG 1100, MG Magnette, MGC, Austin-Healey Sprite, 100 and 3000, classic Mini, Morris Minor, Triumph TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5, TR250, TR6, Spitfire, GT6, Standard, Rover, Jaguar (most models from 1955 to 1970 or later), and just about any other British car from the period with two 7-inch headlamps.
