This is a pair of sidelamp lenses known variously as jewels, pips, prisms, telltales or medallions for Jaguar XK120, 140, 150, Mark VIIM, VIII, IX, or Mark II MK 2. They mount on top of the housings for the sidelamp, or parking lamp. These are made on the original Lucas tooling in England, and are correctly marked "LUCAS." This is a beautiful and rare Lucas L494 reversing lamp, in new old stock unused condition, but with some minor pimpling in the chrome, a very common flaw with cast lamps such as this. The chrome shines beautifully and the pimples are hard to spot unless one looks closely. Lamps like these were commonly used on Austin-Healeys, Triumph TR2-3-4-5-250, MGA, MGB, Magnette, MG TD and TF, and so many other British cars. Lucas Square 8 foglamps are rare, especially NOS lamps with YELLOW lenses. They are in perfect, unmarked condition but with no original packaging remaining.
