This hydraulic switch is the right one for just about every British car made in the 1940s, 1950s, and early 1960s, including MGA, Triumph TR3, TR4, MGB, and Healey. It is also the correct switch for early Volvos, possibly Alfa-Romeos, and other cars. It has a 1/8" pipe thread and is pretty close to a universal switch. Super rare Original NOS Lucas battery terminal shutoff switch. One UK vendor believes these were standard fitment on a lot of 1950s specialist sports and racing cars and used in competition cars such as BMC Minis, Lotus Cortinas and the like.
