This is a truly excellent pair of Lucas SFT700S foglamps, the later style with slightly convex lenses and chrome nipples in the center of the glass. This style was made primarily in the 1960s and is the correct style for works Minis, Austin-Healey 3000 and many other cars. They were definitely used by BMC on the factory-sponsored rally Mini Cooper S and big Healey cars. Sunbeam Tigers which were raced also were fitted by the factory with SFT700S lamps like these.
The photo shows a representative pair of lamps. They are probably not NOS but are certainly excellent. The chrome is superb, the glass unpitted and the reflectors seem to be perfect.
This style 700 lamp is fairly unusual. We have a great many of the earlier style flat-glass SFT700 foglamps available as well, including superb reproductions.
These lamps are 7 inches in diameter, and quite heavy.
