This is a brand new old stock (NOS) pair of right hand drive (RHD) Lucas 700 bulb-type headlamps with pilot bulbs, 7 inches in diameter, the standard size for most twin-headlamp cars. They are new, unused old stock, probably made in the 1960s.
They are correct for RHD MG TD, TF, MGA, Midget, early MGB, Austin-Healey 100 or 3000, Sprite, Land-Rover, Riley, Wolseley, Rover, Austin, Morris, Morgan, Triumph TR2, 3, early 4, Mini, and countless other British cars of the 1950s and 1960s.
These lamps are correct for right-hand drive cars, but they would certainly work on a LHD car, although the low beams dip the wrong way. Halogen bulbs are available for $25/pair.
