This is a PAIR of used original RHD Lucas sealed beam headlamps, as used on most British cars in the 1960s and 1970s. We have several pairs of these lamps, all tested and working. These are RHD, meaning the low beam dips towards the left. Which might be a problem with a modern eye-burning lamp as used in most cars today, but with a tungsten sealed beam lamp, the odds of dazzling an oncoming vehicle are slim to none. Oncoming drivers will be grateful that you aren't driving an SUV with a 120-amp alternator and super killer LED lights, left-dip or not! Having said this, some US states require that headlamps dip to the right, and your car may fail state safety inspection in those states if equipped with left-dip lamps like these. We occasionally get a pair of LHD Lucas sealed beams, but these have become quite rare in recent years.
These lamps will fit any classic British car with 7-inch headlamps. Examples of cars these will fit include: MGA, MGB, Midget, MG Magnette, Austin A40, A70, A90, A95, Morris Minor, Oxford, Triumph TR2, TR3, TR4, TR250, TR6, Spitfire, TR10, Jaguar MK I, MK 2, E-type, 3.8S, 420, Austin-Healey 100/4, 100/6, 3000, Sprite, Land-Rover, Rover, Humber, Alvis, Sunbeam, Hillman, Singer, and just about any other British car of the fifties, sixties or seventies which is equipped with two seven-inch headlamps.
We also have ONE pair of LHD lamps like these in stock as well. Please contact us if you want those.
