This is a pair of rare new old stock (NOS) single-pole Lucas L488 lamps with frosted glass lenses. They are in pristine original, unused condition.Please select lamps with one- or two-filament bulbs. This is a beautiful and rare Lucas L494 reversing lamp, in new old stock unused condition, but with some minor pimpling in the chrome, a very common flaw with cast lamps such as this. The chrome shines beautifully and the pimples are hard to spot unless one looks closely. Lamps like these were commonly used on Austin-Healeys, Triumph TR2-3-4-5-250, MGA, MGB, Magnette, MG TD and TF, and so many other British cars. The lenses are excellent heavy glass as original, and say LUCAS and MADE IN ENGLAND on them as original, unlike cheaper lenses available domestically. This is a PAIR of very nice heavy glass used original glass Lucas L594 lenses, made in England.  They are available in amber, red and clear. The lenses are well matched with respect to color and lettering: LUCAS, L594, and ENGLAND. Some say GRADE 1.  However, they have been used and they do show minor signs of wear or may have a small chip in the rim that is hidden by the trim ring.
