Found at an autojumble in England, this is an ultra-rare Lucas reverse lamp set, complete with a pair of L539 lamps, wiring, rare white illuminated push-pull switch, fitting instructions, even a bag of connectors for the wiring, and all packaged in a great display box and marked, "4-65" as date of manufacture. This is a PAIR of brand new L594 beehive lamps (2 3/4" diameter) imported from the UK. The L594 beehive lamp was used on a great many British cars, including MGA, Triumph TR2, TR3, TR4, Austin-Healey 100 and 3000, Bugeye Sprite, Mini, Land Rover, Morris Minor, Austin and Morgan, among others. This is a PAIR of very nice heavy glass used original glass Lucas L594 lenses, made in England.  They are available in amber, red and clear. The lenses are well matched with respect to color and lettering: LUCAS, L594, and ENGLAND. Some say GRADE 1.  However, they have been used and they do show minor signs of wear or may have a small chip in the rim that is hidden by the trim ring. These are newly-made genuine Lucas H4 7-inch round convex headlamps with new halogen Lucas P43 (60/55W) bulbs, imported from England, but no longer supplied in green and white Lucas boxes. This is a new Lucas British Prefocus (BPF) or P36 base (12V, 45W) foglamp bulb in a new green Lucas box, correct for SFT576, SFT700 or Fogranger lamps. This is a nice pair of original headlamp retaining rims for a Jaguar Mark VII. This is the outer chrome rim, also called a headlight "door." The chrome is good, but not perfect, a little dull. The rims are in good shape, not dented except for a small are which could easily be straightened.
