This is a decent pair of early style (flat glass) SFT700S foglamps, as used on Austin-Healey 100, Jaguar XK120 and Mark V, Bristol, Bentley and other British cars in the 1950s and 1960s. The lenses are excellent, reflectors good (one is getting a little brassy, hence the yellowish color, although the camera makes everything look more yellow than it really is, so the effect is not as pronounced as it appears). Fitted by British and Swedish rally teams like BMC, Sunbeam, Triumph and SAAB, and these were often fitted by motorists who wanted the very best auxiliary lamps on their cars, as there were no finer fog lamps available in the 1960s, from any manufacturer. This is an excellent original pair of Lucas SLR576 spot/driving lamps. The pictures show a representative pair, not the pair you will receive. They are excellent, with only some minor scuffs on the backs. The lenses are very nice and the reflectors are very good, with some very minor patina. This is a pair of original Lucas SLR700S driving, or spot, lamps. They were made in England in the 1950s or 1960s. Fitted by British car manufacturers like Jaguar, Aston Martin and Bentley, the were also used by factory rallying teams, as there were no finer driving lamps available in the 1950s, from any manufacturer.
