This is a very nice original Jaguar E-type V12 (also known as XKE Series III or Series 3) factory tool kit. US-market cars were only equipped with this kit as an optional extra, but for some reason, home market cars came with them, as we understand. This kit is complete and authentic. It has the correct Jaguar Wings tyre gauge, four HEYCO DIN 895 spanners, tommy bar, special plug spanner, screwdriver and other tools, as pictured. All tools are originals, all in good condition and in a good reproduction tool roll.
We are not impressed by the many British car tool kits we see advertised on the web, purporting to be "correct" when they are in fact full of tools that were never fitted to Jaguars, with many components missing. Let the buyer beware of such unscrupulous sellers! We do not play games like this; any omissions or incorrect or repro tools we may offer in one of our kits are clearly marked as such. A kit from Rogers Motors may cost a little more than a bogus one, but it will pass muster with the concours judge.
