Classic Jaguars came equipped with nice tool kits from the factory. This one is for a Jaguar E-type (or XKE) Series I, from about 1962 through 1968. It is 100 percent complete and correct, with all original tools except for the nesting box spanners, which are quality-made reproductions, and the tool roll itself, which is a modern reproduction, nicely made with authentic dimensions and correct light-colored interior.
The tools consist of JAGUAR-marked Garringtons adjustable spanner, JAGUAR-marked tire gauge with correct "wings" logo, tommy bars large and small, correct original spark plug box spanner, correct Sheffield pliers, repro nesting box spanners as described above, original Tecalemit 3020 grease gun with original instruction leaflet (the rubber band is new and probably not made in England), matching set of four correct JAGUAR-marked SSP open-end spanners, original correct JAGUAR-marked screwdriver, original Dunlop brake bleeder tin original feeler gauge, distributor tool and tire valve core remover, and an original cam timing gauge. You will not find a more complete kit. The tool roll is a reproduction but a quality made one with correct pockets and stitching and a nice leather strap with chrome buckle, as original.
We can supply this kit with Girling tin and Bahco or Gedore adjustable spanner, which would then make it correct for a late Series I or early Series II E-type. We can also substitute Garringtons or TW open-end spanners if the buyer prefers; all are considered correct for all Series I XKE cars.
