MGA

This set of fender piping, beading or welting is in silver, as original for MGA. One set is enough to do one complete car. Must be cut to fit your car. This is a more accurate reproduction than the fender beading that Moss Motors sells.

New Moss Motors handbrake cable to fit all MGAs with wire wheels, 1500, 1600, 1600 MK II, roadster or coupe, as well as all MGBs with banjo axles and wire wheels, that is all roadsters up to about late 1967 (all GTs and all later MGBs had a tube axle, which uses a different cable than this one). Here is a sound original MGA carburetor pair ready to rebuild, including intake manifold, heat shield and linkage. They will need rebuild kits, throttle shafts and possibly new throttle shaft bushes, although we find that new shafts usually takes up most of the wear in this area. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CARBS WE SEND WILL NOT BE THE ONES SHOWN IN THE PICTURES. THE PICTURES SHOW A REPRESENTATIVE PAIR. The parts we ship will be equivalent, complete and rebuildable, but probably not very beautiful...

SU carburetors, like all older carburetors, sometimes suffer from leaks in the floats. When this happens, the float fills with petrol and fails to shut off the fuel properly, resulting in a rich mixture, flooding, poor running, and sometimes a fire in the engine compartment. It is not easy to diagnose a leaky float without dismantling the carburetor float chamber.Here is the solution to float chamber flooding once and for all. It's a nitrophyl float, which will never leak or fail to perform...

This is a genuine new old stock (NOS) Lucas cap, in new condition, but there may be some dust, scratches from long-term storage and so on, but no cracks or chips. New old stock original caps like this are very hard to find. We have a very limited stock of NOS Lucas items we buy when we can find them, but supplies are obviously not certain. PLEASE NOTE! The Triumphs used a very similar cap to the one in the pictures, but the wires are offset by 90 degrees as compared to the more common one used...

Nice pair of original seatbelts from an MGB, these will fit any car, but would look best in a car of the 1950s or 1960s, we think. In excellent condition.

This is a used original clamp for the spare wheel of MGA Twin Cam, 1600, 1600 Mk II or 1500. This is a rare original clamp in excellent or refurbished condition, no rust or other damage.  Reproductions sell for less but are not as nicely made as this one.  IF you prefer a new one, please contact us.
