This is a good original ignition switch, as used on MGB, TR4, Spitfire, Midget and Sprite, Morgan, Austin-Healey and countless other British cars of the 1960s. This is the style that switches on the ignition and has a third position for operating the starter, just like a modern car. We sell a brand new version of this switch in a Lucas marked green and white box for a lot less money, but we are of the opinion that the original parts are of much higher quality. Item #: SFT576 8.5/10 -
This is pair of excellent original Lucas SFT576 fog lamps. They are genuine Lucas, probably made in the 1960s. Lucas fog lamps had date stamps until about 1965, so these are definitely from the later sixties. They are in superb original condition, with very minor scuffing on the chrome, but from two feet away, they look like new. One or two of them are probably new old stock, never fitted, but the minor scuffs are from being stored carelessly. Lucas SFT576 fog lamps were a very popular...

New distributor caps for older British cars are cheap. We sell new repro ones for $20 each. But they are made of very thin plastic and simply don't measure up to the original bakelite items like this one. It was probably made in the 1960s or 1970s. It is not Lucas-marked but comparable in quality. We also stock new premium red rotors, points and condensers; see Related Products below or contact us.
