This set consists of a charcoal filter for under the bonnet and a vapor separator from the boot of an MGB, MG Midget or Triumph Spitfire or TR6 from 1970 to 1980. The setup came from a 1977 MGB but it will work with just about any British car of the period, and indeed the parts are identical to Midgets and some TR6 and Spitfire models. The parts are in good condition, with no apparent leaks or other issues.

This is an original overflow tank, removed from a 1977 MGB. It is also correct for 1968-74 1275 MG Midget and Austin-Healey Sprite and works as a "replacement" for the no-longer-supplied tank as used on 1975-1979 Midgets. This one is in very good shape, a little grubby but no dents or holes. The cap is included. A new one lists for $100 and we don't know where they manufactured, or the quality. We do know this one was made in England a long time ago and is a nice product.

Most older British cars did not come equipped with headlamp relays. The advantage of a relay is that much more current gets to the lamps, meaning much brighter lighting, as well as a greatly reduced current draw through the lighting switch, so the switch will last a lot longer. We strongly recommend this kit for any British car built before about 1980. It comes complete with two relays, inline fuse, correct color code wires, and instructions for installation.Be safe and be seen! ...
