Lucas Square 8 foglamps are rare, especially NOS lamps with YELLOW lenses. They are in perfect, unmarked condition but with no original packaging remaining. We have a set of original NOS plastic covers to fit these lamps if you are interested.This pair does not have pedestals on the bottom. This is a new old stock rheostat, made in January, 1963 in the Lucas factory. It's unused in its wonderful old Lucas box, excellent apart from some sort of bloom that has begun on the insulator black, as the pictures show. It still works perfectly. These lovely headlamps were used on many British cars during the 1960s and 1970s. They were popular aftermarket accessories and were used on many rally cars, as they give far more light output than a normal sealed beam lamp. This hydraulic switch is the right one for just about every British car made in the 1940s, 1950s, and early 1960s, including MGA, Triumph TR3, TR4, MGB, and Healey.
