This style horn was used in most British cars of the 1960s, and 1970s including MGB, MG Midget and 1100, Triumph TR4, TR250, TR6, TR7, Spitfire, later Austin-Healey 3000, Jaguar E-type, late Mark 2 and X, Land Rovers, and practically every other 12 Volt British car of the period. This is a new Lucas British Prefocus (BPF) or P36 base (12V, 45W) foglamp bulb in a new green Lucas box, correct for SFT576, SFT700 or Fogranger lamps. It has a horizontal filament, which throws a flat beam, correct for a foglamp, although it would fit in driving or spot lamp as well.
