This is a decent pair of early style (flat glass) SFT700S foglamps, as used on Austin-Healey 100, Jaguar XK120 and Mark V, Bristol, Bentley and other British cars in the 1950s and 1960s. The lenses are excellent, reflectors good (one is getting a little brassy, hence the yellowish color, although the camera makes everything look more yellow than it really is, so the effect is not as pronounced as it appears). The chrome is in pretty good shape considering the age of these lamps, but there are...
This is a new Lucas-style British Prefocus (BPF) or P36 base yellow bulb (12V, 45W), correct for Lucas 576, 700, or Ranger lamps. They are foglamp bulbs, which have horizontal filaments, but they will work fine in a spot or driving lamp as well. We have only a very few of these bulbs left, and when they're gone, we cannot be sure of getting any more.
This is a pair of decent quality reproduction Lucas spot, or driving, lamps, also known as "Flamethrowers," at 25% off Moss Motors list. They have a clear lens with no fluting or block pattern whatsoever. These are made in Asia, of good quality, although the detailing is not as good as the more expensive reproduction "MADE IN ENGLAND" 576 lamps we carry. The crest at the top of the lamp is correctly marked "LUCAS" but there are no other markings on these lamps. They were sold as options on many...
Lucas Square 8 foglamps are rare, especially NOS lamps with YELLOW lenses. They are in perfect, unmarked condition but with no original packaging remaining. We have a set of original NOS plastic covers to fit these lamps if you are interested. This pair does not have pedestals on the bottom. We are told they are for a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, so perhaps the odd brackets on the bottoms are for these cars (we are not R-R specialists). These are the lamps that were fitted to Shelby Mustangs,...

An extremely rare amber (it looks yellow in the picture but is really amber) 409 British PreFocus bulb, special type for Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I and II and Bentley SI and SII, cars which used the fog lamp as a directional flasher lamp. These cars had a very special bulb which had a 21W filament for the directional flasher and a normal 28W bulb for the fog lamp. New old stock and guaranteed to be fully functional. We have one pair left. The price here is for ONE bulb. Lucas Bulb Number is...
These foglamps are similar to our 5 3/4-inch SFT 576 stem-mount lamps, but these mount from the rear, not the bottom. They were used on many rally cars and works Minis, often mounted on the boot lid as a powerful reversing lamp. They can be mounted through the grille of most vehicles, as well. These lamps have LUCAS in red letters on the crests, which is no longer true of the lamps Moss Motors sells. There are no other Lucas markings. These are fine-looking lamps although they are...

They come with clear tungsten bulbs; yellow bulbs are available for $30/pair and halogen bulbs are available for $20/pair for brighter light output. These back-mounted...

These lovely 7-inch driving and spotlamps were used on many British cars during the late 1940s and 1950s, including Jaguar XK120, Bristol, Bentley, and others. They were also popular aftermarket accessories and fitted to many racing and rally cars, including Mini Coopers. This is a scarce original pair in excellent condition. The chrome backs are superb, with one or two very small flaws. The reflectors are glass are excellent, with a few small spot on the reflectors but no corrosion. Overall,...
These beautiful lamps are rare back-mount Lucas 576 lamps, often used on rally cars, mounted through the grille or on a badge/lamp bar, or as reversing lamps. If you are building a Mini rally car and want the original equipment fog lamps, these are the right ones. It is rare to find a pair of back-mount lamps like these, and almost unheard-of to find a pair in new old stock, unused original condition. Original Lucas for lamps like these are made of chrome-plated brass, with thick glass lenses,...
