This is a pair of original yellow Lucas Fogranger lamps in superb original condition, with perfect lenses and reflectors and lovely shiny chrome, working condition and ready to use. Yellow Rangers are extremely hard to find, and a pair in this condition is a find indeed! One lens is a slightly darker shade of yellow than the other. This is very common with older Lucas lamps, as the glass dyelots varied from batch to batch. We have about a dozen yellow Lucas Ranger lenses in stock, and these two are the closest color match of any of the collection. The variation in color is most noticeable when the lamps are next to each other, as in the pics shown above; it will be less obvious once they are mounted on a car.
Yellow Lucas fog lamps are quite rare and sought after. This is the nicest set we have ever offered for sale.
The Jaguar Mark 2 was fitted with Lucas Fogranger lamps at the factory, except US-market cars and those made after 1967, which normally came with fake grilles to cover the recesses where the Fograngers should fit. Many owners remove the grilles and fit a pair of Fograngers.
This type of lamp was also supplied on Vanden Plas Princess cars of the 1960s.

The Fogranger is about six inches in diameter and use British prefocus (BPF) bulbs, as original. They come with new bulbs.
We also stock the embellishers or "pie plates" that mount behind the lamps for $25 apiece.
