Jaguars made in the 1950s and 1960s came with high quality tool kits.
During the 1950s, the lug wrench, or "wheelbrace," was manufactured by
Britool, or the British Tool Company (BTC) and proudly stamped with the
company name and part number. Later iterations of this tool were used on
Mark 2, 3.4 and 3.8S, 420, Mark X and the like, but were typically
unstamped. If you have a Mark VII, VIII, IX or an XK120, XK140 or XK150, this
is the correct tool for your car.
This one is in very good original condition. There
is no evidence of rust or pitting. The tool is not bent or deformed,
and, apart from a few small nicks, it is in excellent condition. There
is some discoloration of the handles as the pictures show.
