We sell brand new Lucas ignition switches as well as lock inserts with keys. These are fine and work well, but the keys are marked LUCAS and are a different shape and keyway from the original Wilmot Breeden Union lock cylinder and keys. We have a very limited supply of brand new old stock units, all with the FS keyway. They were probably made in the 1960s or early 1970s by Wilmot Breeden in England. These cylinders are very rare, especially in new, unused condition, and once they are gone, we may not get any more.
These cylinders fit two- or three-position switches, used on Triumph TR2, TR3, TR4, MGB, MGA, MG TD, TF, Midget, Austin-Healey 100, 3000 and Sprite, Morgan, Austin, Morris, Jaguar E-type, Mark 2, Daimler, Rover, and just about every other British car from then 1950s, 60s and early 70s.
They will NOT fit ignitions that are on the steering column. If you're not sure if this item will fit your car, email us and we'll try to help you puzzle it out.
