This is a new old reproduction stock (NORS) bakelite top entry distributor cap. It was probably made in the 1960s or 1970s. It is not Lucas-marked (the picture is incorrect) but comparable in quality.
New reproduction distributor caps made today are cheaper, but they are made of very thin plastic and simply don't measure up to the original bakelite items like this one.
PLEASE NOTE! The Triumphs used a very similar cap to the one in the pictures, but the wires are offset by 90 degrees as compared to the more common one used on BMC cars. We do have ONE Triumph cap in stock. Please select the style you want.
