This original Lucas ignition switch is a two-position type (ON and OFF, no START position), used on British cars which have a SEPARATE starter switch, knob or button. This is a brand new genuine Lucas 3-position toggle switch, on-off-on Lucas no. 31743. It is a less common switch, used for directional indicator lamps. It is correct for many, many British cars of the sixties and seventies, including early MGB, Triumph TR4, Spitfire, Mini, Austin, Morris, big Healey, Land Rover, and many others.
