This is a beautiful and rare Lucas L494 reversing lamp, in new old stock unused condition, but with some minor pimpling in the chrome, a very common flaw with cast lamps such as this. The chrome shines beautifully and the pimples are hard to spot unless one looks closely. Lamps like these were commonly used on Austin-Healeys, Triumph TR2-3-4-5-250, MGA, MGB, Magnette, MG TD and TF, and so many other British cars. Here's a new old stock glass lens with amber bulb shield and a nice used chrome rim, correct for a Triumph Herald or Vitesse or a non-US spec MG Midget or Austin-Healey Sprite from 1961 to 1969.
