Jaguars made in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s came with high quality tool kits, and the E-type, or XKE, was no exception. There were several types of 4-inch adjustable spanners fitted to Jaguar kits from about 1955 through the 1970s, all marked "JAGUAR." These are fairly rare and expensive. This is a nice old Garringtons Jackdaw, not correct for any Jaguar factory kit, but it fits perfectly in a Jaguar tool kit and would make a fine substitute for somebody not concerned with building a concours-quality kit.
It is also a nice quality small wrench which could be simply used as a working wrench for you regular toolbox, but with the added benefit that it's a cool old Garringtons tool.
We do have some original JAGUAR spanners for sale as well.
We have a great selection of other Jaguar tools and complete toolkits, jacks, and many other rare parts for classic Jaguars. Call us if you like to inquire about inventory at 413-259-1722 8:30 AM to 5 PM Eastern US time or send us an email.
