This a reproduction of the common floor-mounted dimmer or dipper switch used on most British cars of the 1950s and early 1960s. It is a new part, not made by Lucas, or Moss Motors.
This switch replaces the Lucas 31284 switch, correct for MGA, Austin-Healey 100, 100-6, 3000, Bugeye Sprite, Jaguar Mark 2, Mark I, Mark VII VIII IX X 3.4S 3.8S Triumph TR2, TR3, Morgan, Morris Minor, Nash Metropolitan, Alfa Romeo Guilietta, 1900, 2000, Aston Martin DB2, DB 2-4, Mk III, Austin A-40, A-50, A-95, A-90, Hillman (most models), MG Magnette, TD, TF, Morris Minor, Riley 1.5, Rover 75, 90, 105S, Rolls Royce and Bentley (1956-59), Singer 9, Gazelle, Sunbeam Talbot Alpine, and Standard 10, among many others (!).
