This is an upgraded, fully electronic brand new 12 volt Lucas RF95 regulator, as used on MG TC, Jaguar XK120, Alvis and other quality cars of the 1940s and 1950s. The original Lucas RF95 control box operated with bobbins and contact points, and could be troublesome when it got out of adjustment or the points got dirty or corroded.
This regulator was made in England. They come without a proper Lucas-marked cover, due to trademark laws, but we fit the ones we sell with an original RF95 cover by ourselves.
This a fully guaranteed unit, looks like an original and will pass muster with any councours judge, and it will solve your regulator troubles, reliably and for a very long time.
