Rare New Old Stock Lucas BC9 spare bulb holder. These were made in the fifties and sixties and designed to be screwed to the bulkhead, boot side panel or other safe place, ready to supply a bulb in the event of a burned out or broken one. The kit contains several common bulbs as fitted to British cars of the period. The container usually had a Florentine Bronze finish, although we have seen painted ones as well.
This one is new old stock, never fitted or cannibalized, and complete with all the original bulbs in place. It is in lovely original condition, although some of the bronze finish is damaged, most likely from atmospheric moisture. The original, tatty, box is included.
