This is a truly excellent pair of Lucas SFT700S foglamps, the later style with slightly convex lenses and a chrome nipple in the center of the glass. This style was made primarily in the 1960s and is the correct style for works Minis, Austin-Healey 3000 and many other cars. They were definitely used by BMC on the factory-sponsored rally Mini Cooper S, MGBs and big Healey cars. Sunbeam Tigers which were raced also were fitted by the factory with SFT700S lamps like these.
This is a pair of original new old stock lamps, made in Birmingham, England in the 1960s. They are in their original boxes, although the outer, colored, wrappers are missing. The set includes mounting instructions from the factory and a new Lucas switch to operate them. They are in perfect, unmarked condition, a very rare find!
These lamps are 7 inches in diameter, and quite heavy.
We carry a large stock of switches and switch panels, new, original used and NOS, which would be correct for these fine lamps. Contact us for more information or search this site for "switch."
