This is a new Jaguar XK140 left-hand side valance panel to fit in the engine compartment, ahead of the battery box.
Although we manufacture these parts to a higher quality standard than this one, it's quite usable for a driver quality restoration. The flaws in the part will not show once it is installed, but it is generally not carefully made and the welds in the reinforcing channel are gas welds, rather than the correct spot welds. This is a bargain, at a bargain price. It was made by a competitor of ours some years ago, in North America.
