This is an original plastic housing or cowl for the steering column of an MGB. It is in good condition overall; no cracks or other major damage is apparent. It will work with any MGB from about 1968 to 1976.
There are three styles but at this time we have only one of the three in stock, the one pictured with a smooth finish. We usually have cowls with a textured finish, used up through 1976, but we are temporarily OUT OF STOCK of cowls with textured finish as of March 2023.
MGBs from 1977 through 1980 used a different column housing that incorporated a toggle switch for the headlamps. Please contact us for availability.
Please note that this is a representative picture of our stock of steering column housings. We have many of these, with a fair amount of individual variation. When you order, please add the year of your car and whether you have an instrument panel switch on your cowl.
