This is a beautiful pair of original Lucas Fogranger back-mount foglamps. The chrome is outstanding, reflectors excellent with no corrosion and there are no dents. This is a new Lucas-style British Prefocus (BPF) or P36 base (12V, 45W) foglamp bulb, correct for SFT576, SFT700 or Fogranger lamps. It has a horizontal filament, which throws a flat beam, correct for a foglamp, although it would fit in driving or spot lamp as well. Lucas part no. LLB323.
If your Mark 2 or 3.4 or 3.8S Jaguar did not come equipped with factory foglamps and you want to add them, you will need a new switch and a proper escutcheon to show which lamps are on. Of if your escutcheon has simply become tired and faded, here is the answer. This is hardware kit to mount 576 foglamps on a XK140 or XK150. This kit comes with left and right brackets, special extended nuts, chrome spacers and grommets to do the installation properly. Many XK 140 and 150 cars did not come equipped with driving/spot or foglamps. We sell the correct Lucas SFT576 or SLR576 lamps for these cars, but if yours did not originally come with these lamps, you will need brackets to mount them. It is correct in every detail. They are foglamp bulbs, which have horizontal filaments, but they will work fine in a spot or driving lamp as well. We have only a very few of these bulbs left, and when they're gone, we cannot be sure of getting any more.
These are excellent chrome clamps, used to mount driving/spot/foglamps to standard size badge bars. Lucas made these in the 1950s and 1960s. These are priced as a pair.
