This MGB is a rock-solid stalled project car. It is a former southern car and only has 53,000 original miles.
The minor rust bubbling on the sills and rear quarters was cut out and new panels professionally welded in. Otherwise, the body is all original and very clean. The chrome was all removed in preparation for painting. Apart from some minor dent repair and finishing of the welded seams, the car is nearly ready for paint.
The carpets and seats were removed, showing nice original floors with intact original paint. The seats are in excellent condition, with no rips or tears. The dash has cracks but it could easily be repaired with a Coverlay. The top frame is excellent and the top itself may be usable
Mechanically, the engine runs very well with excellent compression. The front suspension and all brakes have been rebuilt. The exhaust and fuel pump were new when the work was done a few years ago.
The car will need carpets, door panels and tires. We will supply any new parts to the buyer at 10 percent below the current Moss Motors list prices.
