This is a pair of original, new old stock Lucas L686 front lamps. They are 100 percent authentic and correct, perfect for a show-quality car. These were made in England by Joseph Lucas, decades ago. The rims are chrome-plated brass, unlike modern reproductions. The lenses and lamp bodies are correctly marked Lucas and Made in England. This is a very nice pair of L686 lamps with rare clear lenses for Austin-Healey Sprites and MG Midgets. It's correct for 1961-67 US-market cars, but it will fit all years of Sprites ad Midgets with chrome bumpers. 1968-69 US-market Sprites and Midgets used these same lamps, but with amber lenses. We can supply this pair of lamps with amber lenses, but for $10 cheaper, at $100 per pair.The bodies have been chemically cleaned and Hammerite painted. New distributor caps for older British cars are cheap. We sell new repro ones for $20 each. But they are made of very thin plastic and simply don't measure up to the original bakelite items like this one.
